Court Refuses To Give Bail To Suspects In Ashaiman Soldier’s Murder
The Ashaiman Circuit Court has denied bail to key suspects who were arrested by the police in connection with the murder of the young soldier, Trooper Imoro Sherrif.
The victim was found dead in a pool of blood at Taifa, a suburb of Ashaiman on 4th March 2023.
According to prosecutor of the case, Supt. Sylvester Asare, bailing these key suspects will prevent lead of knowing the true killers of the case, that is, investigations will be impeded when the key suspects are let go.
The Ghana police sustained intelligence-led operations and later released a letter on Sunday March 11, detailing what led to the death of the young soldier.
